What happened to dA?And why?
Because allmost EVERYONE are posting manga or manga-inspired figures. What happened to the more traditional drawings and drawers?
9/10 deviations on the front page that isn't a photo or text, are drawings inspired by this popular japaneese art form.
I'm getting sick of Naruto, Bleach, Pokemon, Digimon, Homemade manga, you name it.
I guess people draw this kind of stuff because they aren't good enough to draw "realistic" or "professional"?
Today I found a new deviant art member who had a whole gallery with fantasy pictures. "Nice!" I thought, until I saw that it was these simple cartoon-drawings.
GO CHECK OUT TODD LOCKWOOD or something, PLEASE!
I beg you. I need inspiration for my story, and I don't get that through simple comic art.
